Treatments - Dental Aesthetic
Fillings
For small cracks and caries, we use the highest quality composites (White resins in several tones). They are very aesthetic and strong.
Inlays / Onlays
When the filling is not enough to resist the high pressures and forces of biting due to the quantity of tooth missing, we can use inlays or onlays whish are “porcelain fillings”. They last longer and they have less leakage.
Make Up
If the patient wants lighter teeth but whitening is not an option and the patient doesn’t want to file down the enamel, we can use special composites (aesthetic resins) which are made espefically for this purpose.
Veneers
The veneers are porcelain layers we apply over the teeth after preparing them, filing the enamel down, but not as much as for the full crowns.
Porcelain Crowns
Also known as porcelain caps. We use them when the Tooth is so deteriorated that cannot hold on its own, or when we need to change shape and color of the Tooth. They are very aesthetic, no allergies and there’s no grey contour as sometimes can happen with metal-porcelain crowns.
Zirconium Crowns
They are full covering preparations. They are similar to porcelain crowns, but even stronger. We can use them in molars or also for dental bridges. They are very aesthetic, no allergies and there’s no grey contour as sometimes can happen with metal-porcelain crowns.
Tooth-Whitening
It’s a treatment where we apply a gel over the teeth in order to get a lighter enamel.
The enamel is the only tissue in the Tooth which can be whitened, so we cannot change the colour of dentin, filling, crowns or roots. Not every patient is a good case for tooth-whitening, so we always recommend having a consultation before this procedure.
Tooth-whitening at the Clinic: it’s done with hydrogen peroxide of high concentration. A special isolation is needed as well as a proper care. It’s done also with a blue light (also known as blue laser by some patients) and the treatment takes 1 hour approximately.
Tooth-whitening at home: At the Clinic we make the gumshield and we give some syringes with the whitening gel, which is peroxide of hydrogen of low concentration or carbamide peroxide.
Microfillers
If the patient wants to get some volume in the lips, get rid of the wrinkles caused by smoking so many years or lift up the smile we can apply hyaluronic acid and get a younger and subtle look.
